Microscopic Glass Slides

Imported microscope glass slides are often preferred in clinical and research settings for their superior optical clarity, uniform thickness, and pre-cleaned surfaces. Most imported options are manufactured from high-quality borosilicate or soda-lime glass and are typically vacuum-packed with butter paper to prevent sticking and fogging. 

Microscope glass slides are standard laboratory tools used to hold specimens for observation, typically measuring 75 x 25 mm (3 x 1 inches) with a thickness of about 1 mm. High-quality slides are generally made from soda-lime or borosilicate glass and are pre-cleaned for immediate use. 

It is a thin, flat piece of glass that is made from the highest-quality glass and typically 75 x 25 mm and 1 mm thick or 3 x 1-inch x 1 mm. Some slides are thicker, but most people use 1 mm thick. The slides are used to hold a specimen so there could be a stain for examining under the microscope.
